The groundbreaking musical inspired by the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Story of I Dream
I Dream is a searing new musical that immerses audiences in the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, told through the intimate, fragile lens of memory.
At its center is Ralph David Abernathy, Martin Luther King Jr.’s best friend and closest confidant, reflecting on the choices, triumphs, and struggles that defined a generation. Through a brilliant score that spans soulful ballads and electrifying ensemble numbers, the story rises from personal recollection to collective movement, illuminating the human complexities behind monumental change.
Friendship, vision, and conviction shape the path of a movement that transformed the world, while the work of justice continues to call us forward.
I Dream is a theatrical act of remembrance, accountability, and radical imagination, asking each generation to consider the price of courage and the power of legacy.
